The Crows of Pearblossom

The Crows of Pearblossom
by Aldous Huxley

That was our story this week and kids were delighted with Huxley's tale. Aldous  Leonard Huxley (1894 - 1963), the English novelist was born in England and educated at Balliol College, Oxford. His most famous novel is probably Brave New World (1932) Admirável Mundo Novo in Portuguese. The Crows of Pearblossom was written as a Christmas gift to his niece, Olivia, in 1944. Visit https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Aldous_Huxley for more information.

One of the groups listening very attentively to the tale.

Kids drawings on this tale will be published very soon.

This chocalho (an original percussion instrument made by Brazilian indians) is made out of a cabaça (gourd)  attached to a stick, partially filled with small rocks. I used this to produce the rattle snake. I think Huxley would have approved it.
