Brad, Mahee and Max

Max from Peru, Mahee from Pakistan and Brad from Canada spent the day with me and we enjoyed some touristic points of the city together. Our first stop was Memorial da America Latina. It is located very close to Palmeiras Barra Funda tube station. When we arrived there we ate a typical street food from Brazil Called Tapioca.

Then we started to visit the exhibitions and we enjoyed a lot to see artists from Latin America and their work. See in details on  http://www.memorial.org.br/

Carlos Adissi, one of the exhibitors from São José dos Campos, a city nearby São Paulo welcomed us and showed his beautiful work. You can have more in his site www.usina14.com.br

Flávio Cesnik and Malu Cunha have also talked to us about their  mosaic work. You can check on www.cesnik.com.br

Mahee, Max and Brad also loved to see  A Arte Brasileira invade Moscou, Brazilian Art takes over Moscow and its beautiful paintings also available on www.abim.art.br . We received beautiful books to share with you all.

Now you can see the icon of Memorial da América Latina which is simbolized by this hand.

Now we moved to Praça do Patriarca where the Mayor of the city Fernando Haddad has his office. The Santa Cyclist represents all cycle paths which have been implemented in the city as an incentive to people use more bikes and public transportation instead of cars.

They loved to visit our Municipal Theatre charming building http://theatromunicipal.org.br/

They visited Catedral da Sé. One of the most important icons of the city. http://www.catedraldase.org.br/site/?lang=br

Then, we went to MASP, at Avenida Paulista or Paulista Avenue. http://masp.art.br/masp2010/
